4 Potato-Based Face Mask To Get Rid Of Dark Circles Around The Eyes

Staring in front of the computer or losing one night will leave “black” signs on your face, better said around your eyes. But this “black beauty” signs can be easily removed with some natural potato-based face masks in a few hours.
The effects of these masks are visible after the first use. You can apply them during the day, and the next day those dark circles will be just a bad dream.

All that you have to do is to pick your favorite masks listed below:

1. Potato and lemon juice mask

Ingredients:
– 1 potato
– the juice of half a lemon

How to prepare and use:
Peel and cut the potato in small pieces, and then blend it. Put it in a small bowl and add the lemon juice over it. Mix well until you get a homogenous paste.
Apply the paste around the eye area using slightly massaging it with circular movements. Leave the mask to act for 20 minutes, and then remove it by rinsing with water. Both potatoes and lemons contain natural bleaching agents that quickly and effectively improve skin pigment.

2. Potato and onion mask

Ingredients:
– half an onion
– 1 potato

How to prepare and use:
Mix both ingredients in a blender, and then apply the paste around the eye area. Leave the mask to act for 15 minutes, and then remove it by rinsing the face with cold water.

3. Potato and cucumber mask

Ingredients:
– half a cucumber
– 1 potato

How to prepare and use:
Process both the cucumber and potato in a blender until a homogeneous paste is formed. Apply the mask around the eye area by massaging with circular movements, let it act for 25 minutes, and then remove it by rinsing with cold water.

4. Potato and carrot mask

Ingredients:
– half a carrot
– 1 potato

How to prepare and use:
As I said earlier, just add the veggies in a blender and process them until a homogenous paste is obtained. Apply the mask on the face, but don’t forget the eye area. This mask is great to reduce wrinkles on the skin. Let it cat for 20 minutes, and then remove it with cold water.

Important: all the above masks should be applied in the evening!
