Thanksgiving is around the corner, and we can’t say no to all that food sitting on the table, without thinking about consequences, and nausea will install. But there are some folk remedies that my grandmother used to use to get rid of nausea and bring back glow on your face.
Rubbing your arm
One of the most popular remedies for nausea and vomiting is rubbing your arm, including your palm and above the wrist with vinegar. You have to insist in the above the wrist area, exactly on the bone where you’ll feel some small bumps. You have to rub a bit harder to remove those bumps. This technique is quite painful, but it will get you rid of nausea and headaches in a few minutes.
Remedy for navel
For those who eat greedy and much, there is a remedy from our ancestor that is applied around the navel.
Thus, toast a slice of bread and heat a bit some vinegar. Soak the toast in the vinegar, and then put the slice of bread on a piece of gauze and apply over it some mint leaves. Apply the gauze with the remedy on the navel, and tie around the belly. The symptoms will disappear in less than half an hour.
Old Chinese remedy
In ancient Chinese medicine this remedy is based on acupuncture.
Take a little oil or vinegar and rub the patient’s palm from the thumb to the wrist, where the pulse is felt. In a blink of an eye you’ll get rid of nausea.
