Castor oil is often associated with hair therapies. Heated castor oil masks make your hair richer and healthier. But few know that this vegetable oil has beneficial effects in getting rid of external hemorrhoids.
Castor oil for hemorrhoids
Although there are no studies to show the beneficial effects of castor oil to get rid of hemorrhoids, it’s used by many people, especially in the case of external hemorrhoids.
The easiest way is to apply castor oil directly on the hemorrhoids. Heat 2 tablespoons of castor oil then soak a cotton pad in it and apply it directly on the external hemorrhoids.
Leave it to act for 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure every night for 1-2 weeks.
Its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties will reduce hemorrhoids, and if you alternate with the internal castor oil therapy, you’ll also get rid of constipation.
